Brussels Airlines inaugurated “The Loft” at Brussels Airport.
A new business lounge centered around comfort, technology, design and Belgian gastronomy. With this new lounge concept, for which Brussels Airlines has cooperated with top brands and designers, Brussels Airlines sets a new quality standard in hospitality.
German architects Raumwerk worked with Bulo to furnish the business lounge of Brussels Airlines. Bulo has exclusively reissued the works of Belgium’s most iconic midcentury modernist designer Jules Wabbes. As he has designed the interior of several Sabena aircrafts it was common sense to include the luxurious Livourne seats with bespoke adjacent bookcases to create a seating area.
It pays respect to the legacy of both Brussels Airlines and Belgian design. Thanks to its own production facility Bulo was able to provide the lounge with bespoke tables and an exclusive boardroom table.
More active seating areas are equipped with Alain Berteau’s TAB chair and barstool. Berteau, Belgian designer of the year 2006, captured the essence of our current way of using a seat. It provides an ergonomic answer to the demands for active seating.
