We had a lot of new things to show you!
We were present at 100% Design London from September 19th-22nd, Biënnale Interieur in Kortrijk from October 18th-22nd and Orgatec in Cologne from October 23rd-28th.
We launched the new collection ‘SENSES’, collaboration with Belgian interior architect Nathalie Van Reeth. The collection ranges from coffeetables & sidetables to fixed tables and even intuïtive hight adjustable workplaces. A variety of organic shapes in soft colors and interesting materials make the collection a versatile addition to Bulo’s portfolio. Allowing architects and designers to work with SENSES in a playful way, whilst giving projects consistency.
We developed an application for iPhone and Android which allows you to preset and control the height of your workplace, adjusting it with the swipe of a finger.
We also worked on expanding the Chair family, designed by Vincent Van Duysen.
Maintaining the sleek profile of the chair, we developed a new frame. By adding a set of legs to the comfortable shell we round out the collection. Before, the chair was only available on a star base as an office or visitors chair. The four leg makes the chair also usable for the residential market.
SL58 catapulted into 2018, introducing the brand new:
The SL58, a timeless chair designed in 1958 by the late Belgian architect Léon Stynen.
Since 2014 the SL has been taken into production by Bulo, and the design was translated into a small lounge chair, barstools and even an office chair. Available upholstered, laquered or in various kinds of wood.
To honor the design we decided the 60th birthday was the perfect occasion to develop a polypropylene version of the chair. Allowing outdoor use while maintaining the same aesthetic. The new product is launched in 4 colors: Cream, Moss, Forest and Powder in combination with a matte chrome frame.
Our classic H2O… in wood!
The iconic H2O is defined by it’s cross shaped legs. With the 25th anniversary of the design in sight we thought it was time to introduce something new. Originally available in various types of aluminium and laquered finished, wood seemed like a logic addition to the range. A warm material making the H2O tables even more fit for residential use.
