Following in the footsteps of Léon Stynen, Jules Wabbes, Stéphane Beel and many others, interior architect Nathalie van Reeth joined our list. Together we’ve recently launched the SENSES collection in Salone del Mobile in Milan.
Nathalie was on the look-out for furniture that would fit seamlessly into the new ‘De Persgroep’ offices in Antwerp. De Persgroep, a long-time client of Bulo, is a media company active in Belgium, The Netherlands and Denmark. The intention was creating a more humane working environment that adapts to the employee naturally.
We spend the majority of our lives at work, so to me, it was important to bring softness and tactility back to the work environment. It’s all about the senses.
From office to home, the organic design of the Senses collection feels light and versatile. Office tables are available as height-adjustable desks or as static pieces and with a wide variety of materials and shapes you can completely personalize your interior at your convenience – length, height, colour – you have the freedom to play with your choices. One of those choices is Berry: a Belgian product in which they create table tops with unused berries. This gives the table a deep red colour. Beautiful for the eye and for the future.
In addition to design, innovation is deep within Bulo’s DNA. With the Senses table, you can wirelessly charge your mobile phone – a concept made possible through a partnership with Zens, a company specialized in wireless charging. You can also adjust the height of your workplace with one swipe through an app we’ve developed. Just swipe from a sitting to a standing desk depending on your height.
