For the furnishing of their new Headquarters in Oudenaarde, Belgian brick factory Vande Moortel decided to collaborate with Bulo: a perfect match between two Belgian brands, sharing the same values of innovation and tradition.
The rigid design of the height adjustable modular table system grID refers to the architectural language of the new building. For the chairs, the choice fell on a timeless icon: the SL58 designed by the Belgian modernist architect Léon Stynen in 1958 for the World Exhibition in Brussels. Since 2018, the chair has been re-issued by Bulo in contemporary colors and finishes.
The architectural firm TARCH designed Vande Moortel’s new Headquarters and put a variety of their bricks in the spotlight on the façade of the building. The collaboration between Vande Moortel, TARCH and Bulo resulted in an elegant, yet raw finished whole.
